We've chosen a venue that honors Indigenous connections to place while providing modern amenities and accessibility for all participants.

Transportation

By Public Transit

The venue is located at Cable Beach, there is a town bus that anyone can catch at certain stops throughout Broome, just look for the red bus stops. Its a free service.

By Car

Hire cars are avalaible and pick up via the airport.
 

Limited parking is available on-site. We encourage carpooling. Additional parking 300 meters down the main rd near the surf club can be used.

From the Airport

Broome International Airport (PDX) is 12km from the venue. Direct taxi service is available, or use hotel shuttles.

Our community-funded scholarship program provides free and reduced-price tickets to Indigenous community members, youth (18-25), elders, and those facing financial barriers.

Who is RTN for?

RTN welcomes Indigenous community members, cultural workers, allies, educators, media professionals, and anyone committed to shifting narratives around Indigenous peoples. We create space for both Indigenous participants and respectful allies.

Will food be provided?

Light refreshments are included with all tickets. Lunch is available for purchase from Indigenous food vendors on site. The VIP ticket includes access to a catered lounge with complimentary meals and snacks throughout the event.​

Will sessions be recorded?

Select keynotes and panels will be recorded and made available to ticket holders after the event. Some ceremonies and cultural sharing sessions will not be recorded out of respect for cultural protocols. Photography policies will be clearly posted.

What should I wear?

RTN has no formal dress code. Many participants choose to wear traditional regalia or clothing that represents their cultural heritage, while others dress casually or business casual. We encourage authentic self-expression while respecting cultural protocols.

Can I bring my children?

Yes! RTN is family-friendly with a dedicated Youth Zone for children 5-12, featuring Indigenous storytelling, art activities, and educational games. Children under 12 attend free with a ticketed adult. Pre-registration for the Youth Zone is required.

Is there a virtual attendance option?

We intend to offer limited virtual attendance tickets with access to livestreamed keynotes and selected workshops.

Virtual participants will receive a digital resource pack and can participate in online networking opportunities.
