A First Nations female-founded innovation hub and think tank will open its doors in Broome on March 9.
Make it Happen HQ is not your average co-working space.
It aims to provide support for First Nations entrepreneurs in remote Australia through experienced mentors, tailored programs and essential tools.
The First Nation Think Tank, a collection of experts and allies focused on political and economic solutions for First Nations communities, is also on site at 3C-15 Dampier Terrace, Broome.
Founder Adele Peek said the space had been a “long time in the making”.
“We’re thrilled to be able to officially open the doors to our MIHHQ space in the heart of Broome.” she said. “We would like to thank all of our fellow First Nation entrepreneurs who show up, step up and shout out.
“We started MIHHQ to ensure that every First Nations entrepreneur is equipped to shape the future, challenge the status quo, and leave an indelible mark on the world.” Co-working memberships include hot desks, meeting booths, support services, events, and access to MIHHQ’s programs.
Packages start from $150 a month for individuals and $400 for organisations.
